For true followers of Jesus, a gathering with others is only a brief part of what being a follower of Jesus is really all about. We meet to encourage each other, enjoy fellowship, and pray together for the Spirit’s anointing on our lives so that we can continue living the life of Jesus every day. Participating in a weekly gathering is not an excuse to opt out of letting Jesus live through you every other day of the week.

Our schedule is becoming much less predictable, but we usually get together on a Sunday evening. Sometimes we gather on other nights of the week. Our gatherings normally last a few hours and typically include:

•A meal centered around Communion Everyone pitches in to help prepare a dish and everyone present—even the kids—are encouraged to participate in Communion.
•A time of praise with song and music Usually we sing along as some of us play guitars.
•Prayer time Everyone is welcome to talk to Father.
•A discussion of some kind No preaching here! Everyone is encouraged to speak his or her mind and share what Father is doing in his or her life; questions are ALWAYS welcome!

Remember, if you are a follower of Jesus you are already a part of the Way—Jesus’ Church. If you want to come alongside us as a local group of followers of the Way, we welcome your companionship on this journey.

We are ready to welcome others into our extended church family. If Father desires it, we can help you birth a new local church in your community. We can meet in your home, at Starbucks, in a local bar, in a bowling alley, or in any other suitable place where those seeking Jesus can freely gather.
